Wish this hadn't gone out of print! I used this book in college, and it's still a favorite of mine. Put books 1 & 2 together, and you have a meaty course that will bring you up to speed with your playing. Covers playing melody, chords, finger picking, using a pick, scales, moveable chords, and more! The songs are more 60's - give or take - with a nice smattering of traditional and folk thrown in. Each song gives you at least three things to learn: melody, chords, and finger picking. Great if you want to play with a class or a friend.
