LARGE DELICIOUS COLOR VOLUME well worth the purchase price. I was entranced seeing the same images that Vincent and Theo had looked upon. I was amazed to find seeds and more source material influencing Vincent's painting...really amazed to see how much the Japanese had influenced him. I collect similar art and this broadens my appreciation of Vincent as the "Zen monk" artist. Actually, not. a monk, but he seems to integrate the Japanese aesthetic and forms directly into his work, both in Paris and in Arles and beyond.
